This was followed by a presentation of the works during a musical performance by Yemeni musician\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/saberbamatraf.com\/\">Saber\u00a0Bamatraf<\/a>, together with Phil\u00a0Westwell\u00a0(uilleann piper\u00a0and\u00a0flutist) and Katherine Campbell (cellist).\u00a0Attendees then had\u00a0the\u00a0opportunity\u00a0to speak with the artists and\u00a0researchers\u00a0while viewing the full exhibition\u00a0during a\u00a0drinks\u00a0reception.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"TextRun SCXW237198229 BCX0\" lang=\"EN-US\" xml:lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"auto\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW237198229 BCX0\">Attendees reported that they found the\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW237198229 BCX0\">art<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW237198229 BCX0\">work<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW237198229 BCX0\">\u00a0and\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW237198229 BCX0\">music\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW237198229 BCX0\">very<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW237198229 BCX0\">\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW237198229 BCX0\">engaging,\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW237198229 BCX0\">moving,<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW237198229 BCX0\">\u00a0and<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW237198229 BCX0\">\u00a0thought-provoking<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW237198229 BCX0\">.<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW237198229 BCX0\">\u00a0Dr Kasey McCall-Smith (University of Edinburgh) described how the exhibition showcased \u201cAmazing approaches to conflict resolution flowing through to paper & action\u201d.<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW237198229 BCX0\"> Featured artists also shared their thoughts on the event on Twitter:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-14684 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/peacerep.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/Exhibition-tweet-1.png\" alt=\"Tweet posted by Saber Bamatraf (@BamatrafSaber): So honored to be part of this event. In Syria,\u00a0PeaceRep\u00a0Research Associate Dr. Juline\u00a0Beaujouan\u00a0and colleagues, Abdulah El\u00a0hafi\u00a0and Eyas\u00a0Ghreiz, built on collaborations with local communities in northwest Aleppo to investigate the shifting role of local civil society during the pandemic.<\/span><span
