Jennifer passed the viva for her PhD from the UCL Department of Political Science. She also holds an MSc in Conflict Studies from LSE, and an MA in Economics and Politics from the University of Edinburgh.<\/p>\n<p>Jennifer\u2019s doctoral research focused on the conditions under which local peace communities emerge in conflict-affected states, and their effectiveness in reducing physical violence against civilians in the territories in which they form.
