These considerations, therefore, must be recognised when examining Gulf involvement.<\/p>\n<p>Recommendations for policymakers:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>encourage multilateral, rather than bilateral, pursuits where possible<\/li>\n<li>continue to foster the intra-Gulf cooperation<\/li>\n<li>use the media and other tools to\u00a0 raise awareness of issues that could be addressed at international or multilateral levels, rather than regionally<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/peacerep.org\/research\/geopolitical-transitions\/\">Global Transitions Series<\/a>\u00a0looks at fragmentations in the global order and how these impact peace and transition settlements. It explores why and how different third-party actors \u2013 state, intergovernmental, and non-governmental \u2013 intervene in conflicts, and how they see themselves contributing to reduction of conflict and risks of conflict relapse. The series critically assesses the growth and diversification of global and regional responses to contemporary conflicts.
